The Sewing Room Adult Classes
Come and sew in a relaxed friendly environment.
Small classes (maximum of six).
These classes are suitable for all abilities - whether you're a total beginner, or someone with a bit of sewing experience.
No experience? For beginners... learn how to thread a machine, wind and insert a bobbin and use straight and zigzag stitches - as well as getting tips on measuring, cutting and pinning.
Learn the basics and choose from the following projects:

a lined reversible book bag

a zipped make-up bag

a zipped cushion cover
A bit of experience? For those with a bit of experience, bring your own pattern and fabric and get sewing tips, advice on following a paper pattern and a couple of hours with like-minded stitchers. Alternatively, bring along a favourite item of clothing and learn how to take a pattern and make a duplicate.
Workshop days and times

Monday evening workshop 7.30-9.30pm
£20 per session or book 4 consecutive sessions for £65

Thursday morning workshop 10-12am
£15 per session or book 4 consecutive sessions for £50

There is a small additional materials charge if you use Sewing Room fabrics.
Machines are available for use in class ( or if you prefer, you can bring your own).
